Extended Scale for Ambitious Music Education
The MAREK M05 chromatic glockenspiel was created with teachers and students in mind who expect more from an instrument than just simple rhythmic support. With 27 notes, instructors can freely choose the repertoire – from simple children's songs, through ear training exercises, to more elaborate melodies requiring a wider range of sounds. This allows the instrument to "grow" with the student and not limit them in subsequent stages of learning.
The MAREK M05 fits very well into daily school work. The durable plastic base withstands frequent transportation and intensive use by various groups of children, while the lacquered steel plates maintain stable tuning and a clear sound. Teachers will appreciate the intuitive arrangement of the notes, which is easy to associate with musical notation, thus shortening the time for introducing new topics. Parents using the instrument at home can engage in simple sound games with their child, create first melodies, and develop auditory sensitivity without needing specialized musical knowledge.
The instrument also serves as a valuable addition to Orff sets and other teaching aids, as it allows for the introduction of melodic parts into existing rhythmic arrangements. Its low weight and readiness to play right out of the box encourage frequent use of the glockenspiel in rehearsals, school performances, or integration activities. As a result, the MAREK M05 becomes a practical, durable, and inspiring tool for developing musicality in various age groups.
