The supercardioid e 614 microphone is a pre-polarized condenser microphone, developed for demanding applications where a wide frequency response, high resistance to high sound pressure levels, fast transient response, and a compact design are required. With a frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, this microphone is capable of capturing the full sound of instruments, while offering good isolation from other sound sources thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern.
It is ideal for miking percussion instruments, as well as woodwind and string instruments. Its excellent acoustic properties also make it a valuable tool for home recordings.
