Yamaha YTS-280 saxophone

The YAS/YTS-280 models are saxophones that were designed from the very beginning with young musicians in mind. Ensuring the greatest possible playing comfort, we have created instruments with relatively low weight and ergonomic shapes. The perfect intonation, which can be expected from Yamaha instruments, allows for achieving a wonderful sound without unnecessary effort. For this series of saxophones, the design was aimed at providing optimal support for beginner musicians and enabling them to fully develop their technical skills and creativity.

Building on the popular YAS/YTS-275 instrument series, we have created the YAS/YTS-280 saxophones – even better models, in which we have applied a new, more stable neck attachment to the body and a new connection of the lower B-C# keys, making them more airtight.
