How do you get the "truest" sound out of your amplifier modelers while maintaining the dynamic feel of a real amplifier pushing real air? The Friedman ASC-12 modeler/profiler monitor is a smart solution. This rugged 500-watt monitor looks just like a typical speaker cabinet, but it's designed for sonic transparency. Many of today's amp emulations create spot-on replications of a real amp, but one thing that simply can't be modeled is the feel of playing through a physical speaker. With the ASC-12, you can run your digital emulations into it for the unmistakable sound and feel of a real speaker filling the room. Play through the Friedman ASC-12, and get the most out of your amp modeling devices.
Though the ASC-12 can be used in a myriad of ways, its traditional cabinet shape makes it as easy to integrate into your rig as any other amplifier. Place your amp modeler or profiler on top, and it basically looks like any other modeling rig. And its ability to switch between guitar and PA duties makes the ASC-12 one of the most flexible stage solutions we've seen at Sweetwater.
The name Friedman Amplification is synonymous with high-quality electric guitar products. Dave Friedman has been building and modding gear for some of the most respected names in electric guitar for years. Seeing a trend toward using direct modeled signals onstage, Mr. Friedman answered the call with the ASC-12 active amplifier modeler/profiler monitor. You can have all the attention to detail, amazingly accurate tone, and premium components that Friedman is known for in an onstage amp for your modeling-based rig.
