Based on the formidable high-gain tone of the VH4 tube amplifier, the Diezel VH4-2 pedal delivers all the high-intensity distortion you can handle. With two switchable channels voiced for rhythm and lead tones, the VH4-2 pedal starts with wide-ranging controls for Gain, Treble, Middle, and Bass. From there, you'll be able to explore a vast soundscape with the Presence, Deep, and Master controls, shaping low-end girth and midrange bite for just the right amount of sonic intimidation. Essentially, the Diezel VH4-2 pedal puts one of the most revered metal amplifiers on your pedalboard.
At the heart of the VH4-2 pedal's character is its Deep (resonance) control. Active in the final output stage of the pedal, the Deep knob allows you to fine-tune your tone's low-end punch in a way you can't achieve with traditional EQ or tone controls. The Presence control helps you find just the right amount of bite to cut through a mix without making your signal too harsh.
At Sweetwater, we've helped countless musicians prepare for world tours, and we can confirm the Diezel VH4-2 pedal is ready for the ordeal. Its metal construction is lightweight yet rugged. Discrete circuitry (instead of an integrated circuit) maximizes sonic integrity. And its included universal 12-volt power supply delivers stable power anywhere in the world. And considering that it packs the VH4-2's Mega channel into a convenient stompbox, the VH4-2 pedal effectively allows you to travel with an additional amplifier.
